We hope everyone had a joyful, relaxing, and memorable summer. We are so excited to begin a new school year together and to welcome both our returning families and those joining our school community for the first time.

On behalf of the PTA Executive Board, we look forward to a year filled with connection, collaboration, and meaningful experiences for our children and families. Our goal is to strengthen the partnership between home and school while supporting our students, teachers, staff, and the entire P.S. 131 community.

Throughout the year, the PTA will host a variety of family events, school activities, workshops, volunteer opportunities, and community-building programs. We encourage every family to get involved in whatever way works best for you—whether that means attending an event, sharing an idea, volunteering your time, or simply staying connected.

Your voice matters to us! If you have a question, suggestion, or idea for making our school community even stronger, please reach out. We truly believe that when families and schools work together, our children benefit most.
