Meet Our Parent Coordinator

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! I hope this message finds you well. My name is Sarah Howard, and I am absolutely delighted to introduce myself as your Parent Coordinator at P.S. 131Q, The Abigail Adams Elementary School.

My primary goal is to build a strong, dynamic partnership between our families and the school community. This educational journey is an exciting time filled with new milestones, and I am here to support you every step of the way. Whether you have questions, need assistance with a concern, or are navigating a new challenge, please consider me your go-to resource. If I don’t have the answer right away, you can rest assured that I will connect you with someone who does.

Family involvement is vital to a child’s academic success from 3-K all the way through 12th grade. Here at 131Q, we are dedicated to creating a welcoming, inclusive environment that encourages you to actively participate in your child’s education. By engaging with the school community, we establish a foundation for clear, consistent communication that ultimately contributes to improved academic outcomes for our students. To further deepen this connection, I highly encourage you to consider being a part of our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and School Leadership Team (SLT) and join the monthly meetings!
